Sorry for the massive delay in getting the minutes E-mailed to you from the last meeting but here they are, also Tuesday 6-5-07 I will be getting ahold of the people we use for our brake laith machine service and repair and see what they say as far as an estimate on getting yours repaired/replaced will see what they say.

Also I cant say that I properly know how minutes are supposed to be recorded so here is what I have.

- Program certifications, Group discussion about N.AT.E.F.  & A-Yes, benefits versus cost and commitment,

Gene brings up If A-Yes is really beneficial or not, he believes it is not beneficial for the program at this time, he however does not believe that it will forever be invalid

 

- Even if a student did not want to end up in the Automotive field, Auto shop offers a different way of thinking, which is a great benefit for a student

 

- Shop needs to get an Estimate for brake lathe repair/replacement Mike would do this and provide the information to Carl,  Gene also would look into it and provide information to Mike

 

- Shop needs to update wheel alignment equipment software and attachments, Mike suggest "laser" type of equipment

 

- Replacement of lost and broken hand tools

 

- Shop needs some type of industry standard brake cleaning system, current system is in disrepair and is failing

 

- Carl speaks about replacement instructor as Mike is retiring

 

- Carl suggest another meeting in regard to a new instructor.

 

- Meeting Adjourn 6:40 PM
